Animal Legal Defense Fund Selects Dykema for Its 2022 Advancement in Animal Law Pro Bono Achievement Award

Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) has bestowed upon the firm its annual Advancement in Animal Law Pro Bono Achievement Award. Dykema was formally recognized and presented the award on November 5 at the 2022 Animal Law Conference in Portland, Oregon.

Dykema was selected for the award due to its work representing the ALDF in its effort to try and close a very poorly maintained roadside zoo in Texas containing tigers and other large animals. The Dykema team working with ALDF on this important work is led by Israel Silvas and includes Cliff Riley, Tara Kern, Caroline Lawhorn, Maria McIntyre, McKenna Crisp, and Sal Robles.
