Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that Abirami (Abi) Gnanadesigan was selected to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2024 “Women of Influence: Attorneys” list. According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, the Women of Influence honorees are “recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.”

In her practice, Gnanadesigan represents clients of various sizes and industries in state and federal courts and arbitration and mediation proceedings across the U.S. Among other clients and cases in her class action practice, she defends automotive manufacturers against product liability claims and employers targeted for wage and hour violations. Her intellectual property work involves protecting clients’ rights in copyright, trademark, and trade secret disputes. She also handles breach of contract, business tort, and other commercial suits.

Outside of her practice, Gnanadesigan contributes to the legal industry through membership in professional organizations. She serves as the California Leader for Dykema’s Women’s Business Initiative and is involved in the South Asian Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. 

Gnanadesigan received a J.D. from Loyola Law School and a B.A. from the University of Southern California.
