Alison Ashmore Receives Third Consecutive Recognition as a “Best Lawyer Under 40” by D Magazine

For the third consecutive year, Alison Ashmore, Dallas-based member in Dykema's Litigation Department, was named among D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers Under 40.” This is only the third year the magazine has published its "Best Lawyers Under 40” list.

D Magazine is a monthly publication that covers a range of topics local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including politics, business, food, fashion, and lifestyle. Ashmore was selected for this honor by a panel of eminent Dallas lawyers from a list of peer nominations who primarily practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Self-nominations were not permitted.

In her practice, Ashmore works with clients to address a broad range of business issues. She regularly counsels clients on disputes with customers, partners, and employees, and on protecting confidential business information. In her litigation practice, Ashmore handles breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent transfer, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other business claims.

Ashmore's practical approach to dispute resolution is tailored to the needs of her clients and covers a variety of industries including real estate, construction, insurance, energy, and technology. Known for her presence and preparedness in the courtroom, she has broad experience representing clients in both state and federal court, bankruptcy court, arbitrations, administrative bodies, and representing employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. A persuasive advocate, Ashmore has also represented clients in appellate matters before the Fifth Circuit and the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals.

Ashmore has also previously honored by D Magazine in its “Best Lawyers In Dallas” list each of the past three years and has been recognized as a Texas "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers every year since 2012.
