Attorney Client Privilege and the Predominant Purpose Test

Dykema’s Michael Carey and Mickey Stevens presented a Minnesota CLE web program on March 23, 2022. The program, “Attorney Client Privilege and the Predominant Purpose Test,” discussed the Predominant Purpose Test, which was formally adopted by the Minnesota Supreme Court with the decision in In Re Polaris Inc. Attendees were able to learn what types of situations and documents are impacted by this test and what measures can be taken to safeguard client communications.
