Bohlen, Hernandez, Preston Elected to the San Antonio Bar Foundation Fellows Program

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced that Brooke Bohlen, John Hernandez, and Kelly Preston were selected by the San Antonio Bar Foundation (SABF) to its 2023 class of 27 newly elected Fellows.

According to the SABF, selection is by nomination only and is restricted to members of the San Antonio Bar Association (SABA). Fellows demonstrate professional achievement, an exemplary reputation and commitment to the legal community. Each year’s class is limited to no more than one-third of one percent of SABA members and is subject to confirmation by the Foundation Board of Trustees.

Bohlen’s practice is focused on commercial litigation. After law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rebeca A. Huddle of the Supreme Court of Texas. Through this work, she honed her legal research and writing skills and gained an invaluable understanding of the Texas judicial system. Bohlen channels this passion into powerful appellate and dispositive motion briefing for her clients. Bohlen earned a J.D., summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Hernandez has represented clients ranging from Global 500 companies, to local governments, to high net worth individuals in a broad range of disputes. He is equally experienced in pursuing claims as he is defending against them at every level from alternative dispute resolution, to trial courts, to appeals. Hernandez earned a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, a M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and B.A. from Yale University.

Preston focuses her practice on litigation and labor and employment matters. She defends employers of all sizes and across all industries in all phases of employment law litigation in state and federal court. She represents employers in aspects of mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations. Preston also conducts workplace investigations and provides advice and counseling regarding compliance and time-sensitive employment matters. Preston earned a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a B.B.A. from Texas A&M University.
