Building Capacity of Lenders to the Underserved

Detroit-based attorneys, Rasul Raheem, Emphani Aldridge, and Monique Eubanks, along with San Antonio-based attorney Taylor Calvert, co-authored the ABA Banking Journal article, “Building Capacity of Lenders to the Underserved.”

In the article, the authors described the purpose of the Emergency Capital Investment Program (“ECIP”), as well as the process to apply prior to the July 6, 2021 deadline. They also explained how ECIP was created to help small businesses, minority-owned businesses, and consumers in low-to-moderate-income communities.
