“California Litigation Updates”

Carolina Nunez will serve as a featured presenter for the Korean American Bar Association's MCLE event, “California Litigation Updates,” which will take place on Wednesday, October 30. Nunez will join Dykema alums Isabella Hsu, Deputy General Counsel – Litigation at First American Financial Corp., and General Counsel for First American Trust, and Rob Jung, Deputy City Attorney, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, for this lunch and learn presentation on recent developments in California civil procedure.

The session will focus on the impact of several changes in the California Code of Civil Procedure (“CCP”), specifically, initial disclosures per CCP 2016.090, mandatory attorney sanctions per CCP 2023.050, and the new summary judgment deadlines per CCP 437(c).
