Construction Law: How to Prevent and Defend Against Common Types of Litigation

Participants in the construction industry, including owners, contractors, design professionals, insurers, and lenders, face a variety of litigation risks. Common claims include construction and design defects, breach of warranty, delay, mechanics liens, indemnification and other insurance-related issues. This webinar will discuss drafting legal strategies that help mitigate these risks, including damage and ADR provisions. In addition, we will review key legal issues to keep in mind during litigation – from the investigation/fact-gathering stage through trial.
