Dykema, a leading national law firm, announced today that Donna McElroy, Member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, was elected to serve as Secretary of the San Antonio Bar Association’s Board of Directors for 2020-21.
The San Antonio Bar Association was established in 1898 to provide members with opportunities to expand their professional knowledge and network with other legal professionals.
In her practice, McElroy works with clients to develop effective EEO and NLRB policies, designs non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and troubleshoots day-to-day employer concerns—including dealing with social media and its growing impact on the work place. During her three decades of practice, McElroy has represented employers before juries, judges, arbitration panels and in administrative proceedings. She has successfully litigated and counseled cases involving age discrimination, ADA, bad faith claims, non-competition and trade secrets, race and national origin discrimination, reductions in force and age discrimination, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, WARN Act and worker’s comp retaliation.
McElroy earned a J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University Law School and a B.S. from Auburn University.
