Donna McElroy Quoted in SHRM Article on Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

Donna McElroy, San Antonio-based Member in Dykema’s Labor & Employment practice group, was quoted in the SHRM article, “House Passes Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.”

In the article, legal professionals discuss the Act, currently under Senate consideration, which would require employers to reasonably accommodate workers and job applicants due to pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions. Examples of reasonable accommodations were listed. McElroy commented on problems created for both employees and employers by a Supreme Court ruling.
