Dykema Marketing Communications Recruiting Campaign Earns First Place Recognition From Legal Marketing Association’s Southwest Region

Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) Southwest Region has recognized the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Department by bestowing a First Place Your Honor Award in the Communications category for its campaign, “Armed with content to attract talent in challenging recruiting times.” Dykema received the award during the LMA Southwest Regional Conference in Dallas.
LMA Your Honor Awards recognize and celebrate creativity, execution, achievement, and overall excellence in legal marketing across a range of categories. Since 2018, Dykema has earned recognition with 13 separate LMA awards from the National, Southwest, and Midwest regions, including eight First Place designations.
Dykema’s winning campaign focused on enhancing the firm’s recruiting efforts through the creation of persuasive, attention-getting content on the Careers section of the firm’s newly launched website. The pages were designed to target and engage candidates by type of role and included:

- Case studies of current employees sharing stories about why they chose Dykema
- Quotes from current employees, each emphasizing different aspects of firm culture
- An interactive series of details about the firm, each of which addressed areas the team’s research had shown as key factors in career considerations
As a result of this campaign, Dykema’s Careers section saw a 100% increase in traffic over the year prior.
“This recruiting campaign presented a really exciting opportunity for the firm to take advantage of its new website infrastructure,” said Tony Marion, Dykema’s Director of Marketing Operations. “The enhanced readability, interactivity, and ease of navigation presented us with a terrific opportunity to be more creative with content to help us stand out in the highly competitive field of recruiting.”
In addition to efforts put forth on the firm’s website, Dykema created tailored electronic brochures for attorneys to send to potential candidates for specific high-growth industries. When recruiting for their own Business Development and Marketing staff, the team took things even a step further through creative social media posts.
