Dykema’s M&A Deal Volume Continues to Surge

The fourth quarter of 2021 was an extremely busy one for Dykema’s M&A practice. All told, we closed 61 transactions, including deals in the following industries: alcoholic beverage distribution, automotive, cannabis, childcare centers, energy, funeral home services, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, broadband, landscaping, recycling, technology, and travel.

Our strong performance in the fourth quarter permitted us to have another record year. We closed a total of 119 transactions during 2021, up from 112 in 2020. Once again, our strongest segment was healthcare, with 56 transactions in the DSO space alone.

As we turn the page to 2022, we are grateful for the many opportunities our clients entrusted us with during another unique and challenging year.
