In December, Dykema, a leading national law firm, moved its Los Angeles office into a new, highly collaborative workspace located at 444 S. Flower Street in downtown L.A. The office was designed with an eye toward efficiency and flexibility.

“After building this forward-looking office from scratch, we are so excited to finally be in our new home,” said Jeff Huron, Office Managing Member of Dykema’s Los Angeles office. “Our goal was to create a space that is inviting to our employees, clients, and the community. Our new user-friendly workplaces will allow our guests to connect with their technology and work with our attorneys more collaboratively.”

Dykema’s new Los Angeles office features a loggia deck that can open to the outdoors, a universal office design, vastly improved technology capabilities, an enhanced lunchroom, collaborative work areas, and office hoteling options for colleagues or clients visiting from long distances.

“Ultimately, we wanted to build an office that was inviting and felt welcoming to everyone,” said Paul Boken, Dykema’s Chief Operating Officer. “This is a fresh workspace that is very open and collegial, and we feel it will stand the test of time.”

Dykema worked with brokers Tony Morales, Lalo Diaz, and Maureen Hawley of JLL in negotiating the lease. Project managers Sarah Friedman and Carlos Gutierrez of JLL, designer Carlie Campesi, architects at Wolcott Architecture, and general contractor Garo Mitilian of Environmental Contracting Corporation contributed to the design and construction of the space.
