Joanne Zimolzak Addresses U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement in Law360

Joanne L. Zimolzak, Washington, D.C.-based Member in Dykema’s Commercial Litigation Group, was quoted in the Law360 article, “What You Need To Know As NAFTA 2.0 Takes Effect.”

In the article, Zimolzak highlights the significance of reviewing recordkeeping systems now that the government can request documents electronically under the USMCA as opposed to NAFTA, which only allowed the same request in an on-site visit. She goes on to state that we will probably see people test the labor enforcement provisions right out of the gate.
