Joe DeHondt Selected to Michigan Lawyers Weekly Up & Coming Lawyers Class of 2023

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announced today that Joe DeHondt was selected for Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers” Class of 2023. DeHondt will be featured in a special section of Michigan Lawyers Weekly on April 24, 2023. In addition, honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on April 21, 2023.

According to Michigan Lawyers Weekly, Up & Coming honorees have excelled in the legal profession and are standouts among their peers in their first 10 years of practice. Further, the program is dedicated to saluting Michigan lawyers who are making their mark and establishing themselves as future leaders.

DeHondt counsels clients on transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, equity offerings, venture capital financings, private placements, corporate governance, and other general corporate matters. Though he represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries, he has earned a reputation for his acumen with technology-related transactions and his representation of clients in the automotive, autonomous vehicle, and advanced mobility sectors.

DeHondt earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
