Kristin G. Bagull Joins Dykema’s Taxation and Estates Practice Group in Chicago

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Kristin G. Bagull in its Taxation and Estates Practice Group as a Member in the firm’s Chicago office. Bagull joins Dykema after practicing at Handler Thayer, LLP in Chicago.

Bagull focuses her practice on the analysis and structuring of sophisticated estate plans and handling taxation and business planning issues for clients. She has extensive experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of estate planning, asset protection, and advanced tax planning strategies.

Bagull also has extensive experience preparing complex trust accountings, estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and income tax returns. She has worked with clients on handling and resolving tax controversies at both the state and federal levels. In addition to her estate planning and administration work, Bagull also regularly represents clients in trust-related litigation, estate contests, and guardianship litigation matters.

Bagull earned an L.L.M. in Taxation from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and a B.S. in Biology from Indiana University.
