Labor and Employment Attorney Kathleen M. Cruz Joins Dykema in Dallas

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Kathleen M. Cruz as a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group resident in Dallas. Cruz joins Dykema after practicing with Burke Bogdanowicz PLLC in Dallas for more than four years.
Cruz primarily focuses her practice on employment litigation. She has experience handling all aspects of civil litigation, from inception to trial, and has represented domestic and international companies in state and federal courts. Cruz has experience advising clients and handling litigation in employment matters under the Texas Labor Code and Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA). She has represented clients across different industries, from oil & gas companies to interstate transportation companies.
Cruz also has concentrations in commercial and business litigation, including non-solicitation and non-compete agreements and partnership disputes. She also has experience with appeals, including drafting appellate briefs in employment and commercial litigation matters.

Cruz earned a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law and a B.A., with honors, in English Honors & Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
