Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that Lance Boldrey and Cheyenne Benyi were each selected for inclusion in the 5th edition of the “Top 200 Cannabis Lawyers” list from the Cannabis Law Report and Cannabis Law Journal.
The Global Top 200 selected the list of cannabis legal professionals from jurisdictions around the world via its annual survey of clients and lawyers in the cannabis legal services sector as well its own personal editorial decisions based on reporting of the industry on a daily basis for the past eight-plus years.
Boldrey is the leader of Dykema's nationally recognized cannabis law practice. In his practice, he serves as counsel to large publicly and privately held vertically integrated companies in the cannabis industry. Individually and as the leader of a multidisciplinary team, he advises clients in licensing, corporate finance, M&A, joint venture, real property, regulatory compliance, government relations, and intellectual property matters. He also represents independent retailers and microbusinesses, shepherding them through the gray areas and conflicts between state and federal law.
In her practice, Benyi has helped many clients successfully obtain the proper licensing with the Marijuana Regulatory Agency. As a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Cannabis Law Section, she also serves on the Legislative Reform Committee, which will serve to identify key issues in combining the MMFLA into the MRTMA and will prepare a formal report and recommendation for amendments to the Legislature once a proposed bill has been formally introduced.
