Lisa Brown Named An “Influential Women of Law” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that Lisa Brown was selected as an “Influential Women of Law” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Brown will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, September 27. Michigan Lawyers Weekly also will publish a special feature on Monday, September 23.

According to the publication, the recipients of this award are "inspiring and accomplished leaders, serve as mentors to others, and contribute significant time and effort to volunteerism and/or pro bono initiatives." The program "honors women attorneys for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities, and their service to the profession." 

With over 25 years of experience and known for her responsiveness, and superior work ethic, Lisa is adamant about delivering exceptional client service and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues. She has successfully represented some of the world's largest automotive and manufacturing companies, in some of their biggest disputes and bet-the-company litigation.

In addition, Lisa’s leadership positions in the firm highlight her commitment to diversity and developing legal talent. For the last 11 years, Lisa has served as Dykema’s Hiring Partner and has been the face of Dykema to law schools, students, and lateral candidates. She is in charge of associate recruiting for Dykema’s 14 offices and is responsible for bringing fresh talent to the firm, helping shape the practice and service groups. Lisa also chairs the firm’s Recruiting Committee,  where she collaborates with a sizable team of recruiting staff, helping to manage and guide the firm’s recruitment efforts.

Brown earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
