M&A Transactional Attorney Richard W. Silverthorn Joins Dykema’s Milwaukee Office

Dykema, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of Rich Silverthorn as a Senior Counsel in its Corporate and Finance Practice Group resident in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Silverthorn joins Dykema after more than 30 years with Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek / Husch Blackwell LLP, which combined in July 2016.

In his national practice, Silverthorn represents both privately held and publicly traded companies. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, supply and distribution arrangements, and various other general corporate, commercial, and finance matters.

Throughout his more than 40-year legal career, Silverthorn has worked on corporate and transactional matters for a wide variety of industries, including the chemical, manufacturing, energy, utility, automotive, trucking, mining, electronics, temporary services, and food industries.

Silverthorn earned a J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been recognized by Chambers USA numerous times throughout his career.
