Personal Property Tax Reform

Dykema lawyers, William C. Lentine and Carl Rashid, Jr., co-authored an article, "Personal Property Tax Reform," that appears in the Fall 2013 issue of Michigan Tax Lawyer, a quarterly publication of the State Bar of Michigan Taxation Section.

The article addresses 10 Public Acts that implement sweeping personal property tax reform in the state of Michigan. Although signed into law by Governor Rick Snyder, Michigan voters need to approve these Acts, in a general election in August 2014, for them to be put into effect.
