Tony Marion Recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a 2023 Notable Leader in Marketing

Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that Tony Marion, the firm’s Director of Marketing Operations, was selected for inclusion in the Crain’s Detroit Business 2023 Notable Leaders in Marketing list. Marion is profiled in a special section of the publication’s April 24, 2023, issue.

According to Crain’s Detroit Business, Marion, along with the other 2023 Notable Leaders in Marketing honorees, were selected based on career accomplishments, track record of success in their field, and contributions to their industry and community.

“Tony is an exceptional marketing leader who has made an indelible mark on our team, organization, and legal field by pushing the envelope in what is historically a very traditional industry,” said Linda Moss, Dykema’s Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer.

During his nearly 20-year tenure with Dykema, Marion has served as an invaluable member of the firm’s Business Development and Marketing Department. As Director of Marketing Operations, he oversees the department’s marketing framework, including planning, process, infrastructure, and research and analysis.

Marion has played a critical role in several of the firm’s recent award-winning business development and marketing campaigns. In the past five years alone, Dykema has been recognized with 13 Legal Marketing Association (LMA) awards, including eight First Place designations—making Dykema one of the most-awarded law firms in legal marketing during this time period.

Notably, he recently undertook the launch of Dykema’s new website and contemporary rebrand—a venture which resulted in higher website traffic and increased audience reach.

Outside of his work at Dykema, Marion has served as a Michigan Youth Challenge Academy Mentor and also serves as a regular volunteer for the Enlisted Heritage House at Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
