Alison L. Carruthers
Senior Attorney
Alison L. Carruthers is an experienced senior attorney in the Ann Arbor, Michigan office of Dykema and a member of the Products, Class Actions & Professional Liability Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in consumer class action defense as well as products liability defense in the automotive and healthcare sectors in both state and federal court.
Alison currently serves as national discovery counsel and a litigation manager for automotive OEMs, where she coordinates and participates in defense strategy discussions among OEM law firm networks—even in multinational litigation. She leads fact investigations, prepares discovery responses to requests for sensitive information, negotiates complex discovery disputes, prepares and defends company witness depositions, and closely collaborates with in-house counsel throughout each case.
She is also committed to pro bono work on behalf of battered women in a wide array of matters.
