Litigation can be complicated. When a client or colleague needs a complex issue distilled to its core, they turn to Andy VanEgmond. His research, analysis, and drafting skills are central to his teams’ briefing and client advice—and keep the Court focused on why his clients win.
Although he has made the complex simple across a wide swath of litigation matters, he has particular experience with class actions (both automotive consumer protection and antitrust), complex discovery management, appeals (including administrative appeals for health care clients and Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness denials), and False Claims Act cases. As a former public school teacher, he also maintains a pro bono practice representing parents of students with disabilities, especially in due process appeals challenging suspensions and expulsions. He has been annually named to the Best Lawyers® "Ones to Watch" list for commercial litigation and antitrust litigation since 2023.
“Judges want a clear, concise, and (dare I say it) enjoyable road map to rule in our clients’ favor. I love diving into the weeds, clearing out all the chaffe, and turning what’s left into our clients’ best shot at success.”
