Diana Y. Tsai

Diana Y. Tsai is a member and leader of the firm's corporate finance practice group. She represents a wide range of institutional and non-institutional lenders and is experienced in structuring, documenting, negotiating and closing secured and unsecured loan transactions, including asset-based and cash-flow financing.

Diana has considerable experience in representing both banks in single-lender loan transactions, as well as administrative agents and participating lenders in large multi-bank syndicated credit facilities. In addition, Diana has handles various aspects of loan restructuring, workouts and liquidations.

In the corporate area, Diana represents middle-market businesses in areas including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and general corporate law.

In addition to her experience in private practice, Diana has worked for Ameritech's legal department, in various divisions of the Argonne National Laboratory, and at the University of Chicago.

Among other honors, Diana was recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business “Notable Women Lawyers in Chicago” in 2018 and 2020. The recognition highlights attorneys who have a track record of setting legal precedents and mentoring the next wave of women in law—all while finding ways to give back to their communities.
