Leader of the firm's trademark practice, Jennifer is a widely respected intellectual property practitioner who brings her experience and talents to representing clients in various sectors, including chemical, industrial, consumer products, financial, cybersecurity, software, and medical, among others.

She leverages her tenure as an examining attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to effectively anticipate and resolve issues during the examination of trademark applications and maintenance of trademark registrations.

Jennifer works seamlessly with clients and partners around the globe to manage their portfolios and protect their interests in the United States and abroad. She also assists clients with other intellectual property issues, including copyright prosecution, counseling and litigation, and drafting various agreements to strengthen intellectual property rights and resolve disputes.

When threats of infringement arise, Jennifer takes swift yet strategic action, effectively parrying those threats and finding creative resolutions in litigation or alternative forums.  Jennifer is adept at navigating the unique procedures at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, including use of streamlined proceedings such as Accelerated Case Resolution. 

Beyond advancing her clients' interests on individual matters, Jennifer also plays key roles in developing the laws, policies, and rulemaking practices that define the intellectual property landscape. She regularly participates in policy meetings with legislators and regulators, and her input has resulted in changes to or interpretations of the law that inure to her clients' benefit.
