John Black focuses his practice on product liability, catastrophic injury/wrongful death, and commercial litigation. Recognized as one of the top nine Next Generation Partners in automotive litigation nationwide by Legal 500 US 2023, he defends Fortune 500 manufacturers and other companies in high-exposure automotive crashworthiness, premises liability, personal injury, and MDL/class action litigation throughout the United States.
John has experience in all phases of litigation both in and out of the courtroom, including trial, and has drafted appellate briefs in both state and federal courts. He has also assisted clients with government investigations involving NHTSA, the CPSC, and Transport Canada.
