When government regulators or outside attorneys investigate Jonathan Feld's clients, he uses his judgment and perspective that come from deep, diverse experience to protect their interests and achieve favorable resolutions. Whether responding to investigations or enforcement actions or developing comprehensive compliance programs, Jonathan delivers the seasoned counsel needed by companies in highly regulated industries.

Leader of the firm's government investigation and corporate compliance practice, Jonathan has spent decades immersed in interactions between the government and the private sector. His practice focuses on representing companies in complex civil and criminal matters, including healthcare, financial, antitrust, government contracting, and antibribery investigations and enforcement proceedings.

In False Claims Act litigation, class actions, arbitrations, and commercial litigation, Jonathan defends clients' interests in a wide range of industries, including health care, manufacturing, and consumer finance. He also advises corporations, boards of directors, and board committees regarding internal investigations, corporate compliance programs, and corporate governance issues, including FCPA issues and data privacy.

Jonathan's multiple investigatory and enforcement work at the federal and state levels, including serving as Associate Deputy Attorney General at the Department of Justice and as an Assistant United States Attorney, have given him a wealth of strategic insights into how best to prepare for and respond to government actions.

His credibility, candor, and full understanding of the legal and business landscape in which such matters arise allow him to work with government attorneys and regulators to resolve volatile situations.

I understand and appreciate the concern that follows when a client learns the government is reviewing their conduct. My job is to prepare them for what to expect and chart that addresses the issues.
