Paula F. Angelini

Prior to joining Dykema's Chicago office, Paula served as the national legal liaison for Business Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, Paula led an army of attorneys supporting four business banking regions across the United States, primarily focusing on companies with revenues of $5 million to $20 million and also working with companies with up to $50 million in revenue in major metropolitan areas. Her responsibilities extended across every part of the lending lifecycle, from origination to workouts, and included substantial compliance and litigation-related work. Paula joined BofA through its acquisition of Chicago-based LaSalle Bank Corporation in 2007, where she spent 17 years in the legal department, holding various roles within commercial lending.

Thriving at the intersection of business, finance, and law, Paula leverages her talents for strategic thinking and problem-solving in equal measure. She has a keen sense of how best to navigate the internal dynamics of large organizations and an appreciation of the pressures and priorities faced by multiple internal constituencies. This makes her particularly well-suited to her work and has formed the foundation of the enduring professional relationships that are her calling card.
