Zack McConnell
Associate

Zack McConnell is an associate in Dykema’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice primarily on complex business and commercial litigation matters.
Zack represents Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies in complex litigation disputes. Zack applies his experience in state, federal, and appellate litigation to provide strategic counsel and develop effective defense strategies. Zack works closely with his clients and team to navigate highly adversarial disputes, and integrates cutting edge technology platforms to reduce client costs.
Zack graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where he was a member of the Oil, Gas, and Energy Law Journal and served as Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology. Zack also studied international law and legal artificial intelligence during his time at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, under the world’s leading legal technology analysts.
Prior to law school, Zack earned his undergraduate degree at Cornell University, studying at the Scheinman Institute of Conflict Resolution, where he was recognized as the highest-achieving student in his class and awarded the Rhodes Scholarship.
Zack has extensive judicial experience, having served as a judicial intern in both federal and state courts. He worked in the chambers of the Honorable Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court in Dallas, Texas, and the Honorable Amos Mazzant of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
