Dykema’s M&A Activity Accelerates During Third Quarter

Dykema closed a total of 26 transactions during the third quarter, which was up sharply from the first half of the year. Deal size during the third quarter averaged $22M.

The transactions comprised nine different industries, including logistics, financial services, insurance, technology, food and beverage, car rental, assisted living facilities, dental service organizations, and healthcare.

Not surprisingly, the fourth quarter has started off quite briskly and we are expecting it to be a very busy one.

During the third quarter, the firm completed our 17th Annual M&A Outlook Survey. Respondents were optimistic about the M&A market during the coming months. Results from the survey will be released in November.
