Washington’s NFL Team is in a Race Against Time to Find Its New Trademark

Marsha Gentner, Washington, D.C.-based Senior Counsel in Dykema’s Intellectual Property Group, authored the IP Watchdog article, “Washington’s NFL Team is in a Race Against Time to Find Its New Trademark.”

In the article, Gentner discussed the steps to be taken by the Washington Football team since it announced on July 13 that it would be renamed and rebranded. The team will need to conduct a worldwide trademark search and then obtain U.S. and international trademark registrations.
