Matt matches his comprehensive understanding of claims and coverage issues with an appreciation of what his clients need and expect from outside counsel. With experience in federal and state courtrooms in multiple jurisdictions, Matt represents domestic and foreign insurers in high-stakes coverage disputes arising out of directors and officers, management liability, cyber, professional liability, pollution liability, commercial general liability, and excess insurance coverage. He frequently provides coverage advice to insurers across a wide range of policies, counsels them in connection with claims against their insureds, and assists with crafting policy language.

Matt's litigation practice also extends to a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters. He leverages his robust advocacy skills to effectively represent individuals and entities in a variety of disputes, including partnership disputes, contract claims, construction defect lawsuits, and professional liability claims. Additionally, Matt represents clients in the financial services industry concerning claims made against their employees or agents and has experience representing reinsurers in arbitrations.
