Caroline S. Lawhorn
Associate
Caroline provides her clients with effective and efficient representation and strives to exceed client expectations. She handles a wide range of complex commercial, product liability, and appellate matters in state and federal court.
Caroline has extensive trial experience and first-chaired a bench trial on the behalf a publicly-traded real estate company. She also has drafted numerous appellate briefs in both state and federal appellate courts, including the Fifth Circuit’s selected model sample brief.
She believes that advocacy starts from the moment she meets her clients and enjoys working directly with her clients to develop a tailored, well-planned strategy to put her clients in the best position for a favorable resolution.
Before beginning her legal career, Caroline attended SMU Dedman School of Law where she served as a Case Note and Comment Editor for the SMU International Law Review Association, represented clients through the SMU Consumer Advocacy Project, and worked for judges in state and federal courts.
